Sheriff Octavia Johnson did not miss the SCLC's Third Annual Juneteenth Celebration held in Washington Park on Saturday, June 13, 2009 . It was a wonderful gathering of family, friends and community leaders.  

 

Sheriff Johnson talked with citizens, visited the different vendors and caught up with her Mary Kay representative, Pamela Banks. At the Harrison Museum of African American Culture table she met the Curator and laid the ground work for a future partnership between the Museum and the Sheriff's Office.
