WOMEN’S EQUALITY DAY

Sheriff Johnson was the guest speaker at Wachovia Bank Center 's, Women's Equality Day, celebration this morning, Friday, August 28, 2009. Women's Equality Day was established in 1971 to commemorate the passage of the 19th Amendment, to the U.S. Constitution, awarding American women full voting rights in 1920.
